Midsummer Night's Tasting - Friday, August 7th, 6:30pm

We began with the simple idea to share a tumble of remarkable recipes with our guests
so that each could go forth, cooking booklet in hand, to celebrate fully the extraordinary abundance of our beloved, fruit filled region.

With flowers in vase and garland, with the dancing light of candles on the summer eve,
with thought and flavor, flair and fun, we share our orchard’s bounty with you.

Thematic Luncheons & Programs at Hurd Orchards are hosted in our 1800s English Threshing Barn, nestled between a historic Sweet Cherry Orchard. Each event is preceded with a welcome and lighthearted talk on the day's theme – sharing insights on our land, farm and how we interpret each theme for our guests.
Each menu is designed to highlight the bounty of each season,
presented in farm fashion – creating an outstanding culinary experience.
Find yourself immersed in floral displays, we use fine antique china and silverware,
and tables adorned with authentic and unique linens.
